Finance

Some might find it difficult to see Finance as a ministry - but is it one our most important ministries and we treat it very seriously. Under the capable and committed direction of our Church Administrator, Sharon, we have been blessed to see the Lord's provision in this area.

We take our responsibility as stewards of our people's money very seriously.  Sharon's diligence in this area means that every dollar is accounted for and directed where it is needed most.  It has been amazing to see how God has provided for us when we trust Him and are faithful with what we have.

OBC is not a big Church, as yet God has allowed us the privilege of investing a lot of money into kingdom ministry.  We love giving money away!  It might be a donation to a Pastor in another Church in town who is in need ... or funding a mission initiative here or overseas ... whatever the need - if the Lord opens the door for us, we will bless those who need it.

Money can cause many tensions in Churches, but in OBC we are just so grateful to have any at all ... we just let God direct what we should do with it.  That sounds simplistic, but it happens to be true.
