Kairos Prison Ministry

We had the opportunity of connecting to the Kairos Prison ministry several years ago when they commenced a program at Bathurst Prison.  It has been our joy to have some men involved in every team since the Bathurst Ministry began.

Many others in the Church get involved by writing letters to the inmate and cooking for the two Kairos weeks in May and October each year.

Many in our Church have also attended the closing ceremony on site in Bathurst which is a very moving occasion. These men are paying their debt to society and that is appropriate.  However, they are also in desperate need of Gospel, and the Kairos program is a vehicle God is using powerfully to effect tremendous change in the hearts and lives of these men.
