Leadership

We believe the effectiveness and fruit of every ministry hinges on strong leadership.  For many years now we have had a very high commitment to leadership development. 

Our Combined Leadership Meetings and Home Group Leaders Meetings are given high priority and we have been blessed to see so many people raised up into leadership roles across our Church.

It has been a special blessing to see so many move into full time ministry and mission work.  We hate to farewell our leaders, but it brings a special joy to know that we were part of their journey as God moves them on to new horizons.

Our commitment to leadership, therefore, is a commitment to the wider Body of Christ, not just OBC.  We get to ‘keep’ many of our leaders, for which we are most grateful.  But others have a calling which allows them to remain only as long as the Lord intended and we consider it a privilege to be part of their maturing in Christ.
