Prayer

Prayer permeates every ministry.  We try to encourage prayer on an individual basis and in every possible corporate setting: Services, Home Groups and all other ministry meetings.

Apart from all our Home Groups, we have a few scheduled prayer meeting times as well.  On Sundays, half an hour before the services in the Vestry and in the Blue Room (back of the hall) at 12:30pm – 1:30pm on Mondays and 6:30am – 7:30am on Tuesdays.

The Monday lunch time meeting is run in four 15 minute segments so as to make it easy for people to come and go in their lunch hour for as long as they can stay.

We also publish a weekly prayer bulletin called ‘Transformation’ which is distributed to everyone in the Church. This bulletin contains praise and prayer points on a local, national and international level.  It also contains valuable resources and teaching to encourage prayer in our people.

We try to involve as many people as possible in our Sunday morning services with a roster of people to pray in the service.  This gives people experience in leading prayer in a public setting, but it also exposes our Church to a wide variety of styles and personalities in prayer.
